JAMES ALEFANTIS IS A CONTROVERSIAL CHARACTER, SOME BELIEVE HE IS THE VICTIM OF A HATE CAMPAIGN WHILE OTHERS BELIEVE HE’S A SECRET CHILD LOVER.
Pizzagate is a controversial topic, every time I post about the subject I get a handful of emails, both from believers in the Pizzagate theory to those who strongly believe it is a hate campaign spurred on by conspiracy nuts.
Not long ago we posted the full Jimmy Comet Instagram Archive, the purpose of this was to hold a full record of James Alefantis’ Instagram profile.
One of the things that we didn’t comment on in that post, which is a rather important point, is the significance of James’ profile picture on Instagram.
James decided to use an interesting image as his profile picture on Instagram. He decided to use an image of a statue, that status was none other than a that of a young man called Antinous. Wikipedia describes Antinous as being a Greek youth and more importantly the young lover of Roman Emperor Hadrian.
While Antinous has become a symbol for gay men it’s also believed that because of the relationship between Hadrian and Antinous that Antinous is also a symbol used by young boy lovers and paedophiles.
While those in support of Alefantis often rush to his defence and say that the choice in profile picture is simply because he is a gay man, the other side of the fence often argue that is you combine this fact with the fact that Alefantis has allowed his venue to be used by artists that glorify paedophilia and has often been seen using codewords that are associated with paedophiles, they argue that all these circumstantial pieces of evidence, when combined together, are rather damning.
James Alefantis certainly plays host to a lot of questionable material on his Instagram profile. Whether his Instagram profile picture choice is simply something that represents his sexuality or is something more sinister is left open to question.
