DONALD TRUMP, BRITAIN AND FRANCE ANNOUNCE JOINT MILITARY ACTION IN SYRIA – AIR STRIKES LAUNCH WITHIN MINUTES OF ANNOUNCEMENT

Donald  Trump, Theresa May and Emmanuel Macron have all agreed to join military forces and launched an all out offensive starting in Damascus Syria.

Trump announced this move in retaliation to the recent ‘alleged’ chemical attack that was said to have taken last week in the Syrian town of Douma.

A short time ago, I ordered the United States Armed Forces to launch precision strikes on targets associated with the chemical weapons capabilities of Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad. A combined operation with the armed forces of France and the United Kingdom, are now underway.Donald Trump - President of The United States

The UK Primeminister, Theresa May, has stated that there was ‘no practical alternative to force’.

This response is already causing outrage across social media, anti-war campaigners have been protesting this past week in the lead up to today’s announcement. Many people feel angered that May, Macron and Trump did not put their ‘evidence’ before politicians, giving them a vote and a say on what action, if any, should be taken.

Many people are questioning the official narrative that Western Media are feeing the general public, with Russia and Assad winning the fight against ISIS and terrorist/rebel groups and the United States announcing they would be pulling troops from Syria just last week, some are puzzled as to why Assad would launch a chemical attack on his own people when it appears he had nothing to gain and everything to lose by doing so.

A former national security adviser to the UK tried to point out the inconsistencies with the official narrative on SKY News but was cut off mid interview and not allowed to finish.

Minutes after announcing the military action, reports came in from across social media of explosions in Damascus.

Trump has given Russia an ultimatum and told Putin to switch sides or continue heading down a dark road.

Russia last week vowed to retaliate to any acts of aggression against Syria from the United States.

Many have feared that this could spark a global conflict with the term WW3 trending across social media.

While airstrikes are said to only be targeting facilities that have nuclear and chemical capabilities, anti air missiles have already been launched by Syrian forces which could escalate the conflict and cause mass casualties and the loss of innocent civilian life.

While Britain, France and the United States have all said they are going to ‘great lengths’ to ensure minimum civil and foreign casualties, it is clear that an operation of this scale will undoubtedly cause a great loss of life. There are also reports from Syrian social media users that non military targets are being attacked.

The only hope we have is that Russia does not retaliate and that two nuclear nations and the fear of mutual assured destruction will be enough to stop this conflict escalating to a global scale.
